Lara Kollios has extensive experience defending complex criminal and civil proceedings. She has represented companies and individuals in a broad spectrum of matters, including wire fraud, conspiracy, antitrust, False Claims Act, computer fraud, and international law. Ms. Kollios’ federal trial experience includes conspiracy and wire fraud, as well as violations of international laws.

Ms. Kollios has handled every facet of litigation, from responding to investigatory subpoenas, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial. She has represented clients through high-stakes internal investigations that have both criminal and civil implications, as well as individuals and companies in federal grand jury proceedings. She has particular experience with international clients, including those from Nigeria, China, Japan, and countries within the EU.

Complex investigations and litigation requires efficient organization of mass amounts of data, and this is an area where Ms. Kollios excels.  She knows how to manage information in an efficient and economical manner, and organize it in a way that best advocates a client’s needs. She will hand select and supervise well trained discovery experts, allowing a small team of lawyers to organize evidence at a fraction of the cost.

Ms. Kollios is active in the legal community, having served as the chair of the Litigation Section for the San Francisco Bar Association’s Barrister’s Club. She is a member of the Bay Area Women in White Collar Defense, and the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association.
